Organicism Farms is proud to present our 2010 late Summer/Fall CSA! A CSA, which stands for Community Supported Agriculture, is a fun way to connect with a local farm by purchasing a share in the farm. In return for this share, you receive a basket loaded with fresh, seasonal, produce, such as tomatoes, peppers, okra, potatoes, and herbs (and later on in the season: lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, arugula, and sugar snap peas) and more every single week during the CSA season. As a member of our CSA, you will receive the finest Certified Naturally Grown produce for a twelve week period beginning August 7th, 2010 and ending October 30th, 2010! How great is that?
Our CSA will have a weekly pickup at Market Square Farmer's Market from August to October. Each share costs $250 (paid in advance to reserve your spot) for the season and we'll even give you $10 at the end of the CSA if you make sure to bring our basket back.
Lucky enough, we'll be offering 4 additional scholarships baskets for those who may be a little short on bucks but don't mind pitching in a hand every other week at the farm. In return for helping ever other Friday to harvest from about 9AM to 2PM throughout the season four people will receive a free basket each week of the season.
